Blake's 7: Archangel

It has just been announced over on the Big Finish website that I am writing the second novel in their new Blake's 7 range.

My book, which is called Archangel, takes place during Series B, in between the TV stories Trial and Killer, and begins with Blake and the crew of the Liberator trying to move on after the recent death of crew-member Olag Gan on Earth, while attempting to destroy Control.

Here's the preview blurb for the book:

"When an old friend of Blake’s – believed to have been murdered five years earlier by the Federation – is discovered alive in a labour camp on Sigma Minor, the rebels decide to mount a daring rescue attempt. But the talented cybernetic engineer Blake once knew is a shadow of his former self. His memory has been wiped, his family are prisoners of the Federation, and his name is inextricably linked to a sinister project known only by a codename: Archangel.

Archangel: An ultra-secret experiment so dangerous, so horrific, so terrifying that it was shut down by the High Council and ordered never to be reopened... until now.

This time, death may be the Liberator crew’s best option."

You can find the full release on the book at Big Finish here.

Blake's 7: Archangel will be published November 30th in both Hardback and eBook formats. You can pre-order it now at the Big Finish website by clicking here.

I will be posting a more in-depth blog about the book and its conception at a later date.
