ANNOUNCED.... 'THE MEN' FROM THE BFI

 

Another day, another exciting announcement - this time I'm delighted to say that I've written a new essay for the collector's booklet of the forthcoming blu-ray release of the 1950 classic drama The Men to be released by the BFI.

Directed by the great Fred Zinneman and featuring the powerful film debut of Marlon Brando, the blu-ray will be released on June 13th and will contain some great extras.

Here's the details of what's been announced so far extraswise...

• Audio Commentary by filmmaker and film historian Jim Hemphill
• Illustrated booklet with new essays by Philip Kemp, Scott Harrison and Victoria Millington

• Newly commissioned sleeve art by Jennifer Dionisio
